Sunflower Room

In our Sunflower Room, we focus on encouraging each child to explore their curiosity and independence. Our teachers partner with the children in learning about our environment, our community, and the world we live in. Children are provided opportunities to be inquisitive, work on problem solving skills all while supporting their social-emotional development. Our daily lesson plans include developmentally appropriate experiences and provocations that focus on the development of fine and large motor skills. In addition, the children have extensive amounts of time to play freely in a literacy rich environment that allows each child to have the most impactful social/emotional and physical learning experiences.
